Sunset Photography Tour with Sergio Stignani

Dates: Saturday, March 28 at 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Description: A guided photography hike through the Argenta Valleys, led by nature photographer Sergio Stignani, to discover the most picturesque spots for capturing the landscape in the twilight. Participants will have the opportunity to take photos that showcase the rich biodiversity of the Po Delta Park, while following the guide’s technical advice and deepening their knowledge of the local birdlife.

Let's Cycle Through Nature

Dates: Sunday, March 15 at 10:00 a.m.; Monday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, May 10 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, June 14 at 9:00 a.m.

Description: Easy guided group bike tours on mixed terrain in the Argenta Valleys. Leisurely rides through history, scenery, and nature, exploring one of the largest freshwater wetlands in northern Italy—an ideal habitat for flamingos as well.

Cycling through the Valleys: Welcome, Spring!

Date: Saturday, March 21, at 4:00 p.m.

Description: A guided bike tour to welcome spring and observe nature coming to life in the Argenta Valleys, with a focus on the colors and species that thrive in the area during this season.

Sunset aperitif among the pink flamingos – Walking tour and aperitif at Prato Pozzo

Dates: Saturday, March 14 at 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 11 at 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m.

Description: Guided tour of the southern part of the Comacchio Marshes, along the Sifone Lepri embankment, to observe the birdlife, with a special focus on the flamingos that paint the landscape pink. The tour will be followed by a set-menu aperitif dinner at Agriturismo Prato Pozzo, featuring local specialties.

Where the spoonbills nest

Dates: Sunday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, June 21 at 9:00 a.m.

Description: A walking tour in Vallesanta to observe the area’s typical wildlife: herons, night herons, grebes, ducks, and spoonbills, with a focus on the habits of these species.

Nature Detectives – Nature Scavenger Hunt

Dates: Sunday, May 3, at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, May 31, at 10:00 a.m.; Tuesday, June 2, at 4:00 p.m.

Description: A family-friendly nature scavenger hunt: participants explore the park in search of natural “treasures” by following clues and answering quizzes, learning to observe and respect the environment while having fun.

Among the reeds and flamingos

Dates: Sunday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m.

Description: Guided tours of the Campotto wetlands, among water lilies, reeds, and woods, with opportunities to observe a wide variety of birdlife (herons, swans, wild geese, spoonbills, etc.). The experience concludes with a set-menu lunch at Bar Trattoria Oasi.

Among wolves and werewolves … a moonlit aperitif

Dates: Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m.

Description: An evening featuring an aperitif and light dinner at Agriturismo Vallesanta, a video presentation about wolves, and a guided walk through the Argenta Valleys to observe nocturnal wildlife and learn more about this protected species.

The magic of sunset

Description: Guided walking tour in the Argenta Valleys along a 6-kilometer-long bike and pedestrian path to observe bird migration, reed beds, and water lilies, featuring a viewing tower for birdwatching at sunset.

AgriPizza with the Wolf at Chiar di Luna – The Wolf: Between Legend and Reality and Flavors

Dates: Friday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, June 19 at 7:00 p.m.

Description: An evening at Agrilocanda Val Campotto featuring a video presentation on wolves, AgriPizza made with locally sourced ingredients, and a moonlit nighttime hike in search of wolf tracks around the Pieve di San Giorgio.

WWW: The Internet of Plants

Dates: Sunday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m.; Sunday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m.; Friday, May 1 at 10:00 a.m.

Description: A guided walking tour to explore the “wood wide web,” the underground network of mycorrhizal fungi that connects plants, enabling the exchange of nutrients and biochemical signals, and enhancing the forest’s resilience and biodiversity.

On the trail of wolves and other animals in the park

Description: A walking tour exploring the wildlife of the Po Delta Park, with a special focus on the presence of wolves and coexistence with this species.

Detective at the Museum – Treasure Hunt: A Challenge Down to the Last Detail!

Dates: Sunday, March 29, at 4:00 p.m. (no snack); Saturday, May 23, at 4:00 p.m. (no snack).

Description: An interactive scavenger hunt through the halls of the Civic Museum, in collaboration with the “Aiutiamoli a vivere” association, to discover hidden details in the works of art and archaeological artifacts.

Art Puzzles and a Garden Picnic!

Dates: Monday, April 6, at 4:00 p.m.; Sunday, June 7, at 4:00 p.m.

Description: A family scavenger hunt at the Civic Museum, followed by a picnic in the museum grounds, with snacks provided by the “Il Tempo dei Sapori” workshop.

St. Dominic and St. John: Two Churches, One History

Description: Guided tours of the churches of San Domenico and San Giovanni Battista, to rediscover the religious and artistic history of Argenta.

The History of a Parish Church: San Giorgio di Argenta

Description: A tour of the Civic Museum dedicated to the Parish Church of San Giorgio, the oldest monument in the province of Ferrara, and the artifacts uncovered during the excavations.

Archaeological Argenta

Description: Guided tour of the archaeological collection housed in the Civic Museum, featuring artifacts from the Pieve di San Giorgio and various areas of the city center.

Beauty Revealed – A Journey Through Art

Description: Guided tour of the Renaissance masterpieces in the art gallery of the Civic Museum of Argenta.

A banner for the Battuti Bianchi

Description: A guided tour exploring spirituality and art, dedicated to the historic banner of the Confraternity of the Battuti Bianchi and the figure of St. John.

On the way from the Square to the Byzantine Church (Via Romea Germanica)

Date: Friday, May 1, at 4:00 p.m.

Description: Guided walk from Piazza Marconi to the Pieve di San Giorgio along the Via Romea Germanica, including a tour of the portal and the iconography of the medieval agricultural calendar.

Trails and Pilgrims – Celletta

Date: Sunday, May 17, at 4:00 p.m.

Description: A walk from the IAT office in Piazza Marconi to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Celletta, including the presentation of the “pilgrim’s notebook” and guided tours.

In the footsteps of pilgrims – A parish church with a snack

Date: Sunday, May 24, at 4:00 p.m.

Description: Guided walk to the Pieve di San Giorgio along the Via Romea Germanica, followed by a picnic in the park with refreshments provided by “Il Tempo dei Sapori”.

Hike along the Via Romea Germanica – Picnic at Celletta

Date: Sunday, May 31, at 4:00 p.m.

Description: A walk to the Santuario della Celletta, featuring a guided tour and a snack in the park, in collaboration with “Il Tempo dei Sapori”.
