🌿 Nature and Hiking (Argenta and the Valleys)

In the fall, the Po Delta offers unique colors and atmospheres: the fall foliage in the valleys and the great migrations of waterfowl. First and foremost, we recommend visiting the Argenta Valleys and the Campotto Nature Reserve, located just a stone’s throw away from us. In addition, the Ecomuseum’s guided tours continue this season, featuring sunsets, nature, and culture.

In addition to its natural beauty, our region boasts a history stretching back thousands of years. For example, the city of Ferrara hosts internationally renowned events just a few minutes’ drive from here.

  • Archaeological Argenta and the History of a Parish Church: San Giorgio di Argenta: Guided tours offered by the Argenta Civic Museum to explore the area’s earliest history, including the Parish Church of San Giorgio (569 AD), the oldest monument in the province of Ferrara.
