🌿 Nature and Hiking (Argenta and the Valleys)

The Po Delta is at its most beautiful this time of year. First and foremost, we recommend visiting the Argenta Valleys and the Campotto Nature Reserve, located just a stone’s throw away from us. In addition, every Sunday through June 21, you can join guided tours on foot or by eco-car.


🍴 Food Festivals and Culinary Events

Emilia-Romagna is, as everyone knows, a region renowned for its good food. As a result, there is a wide variety of food festivals on the calendar. However, be sure to check the exact dates before you go:

In addition to its natural beauty, our region boasts a history stretching back thousands of years. For example, the city of Ferrara hosts internationally renowned events just a few minutes’ drive from here.

  • Palazzo dei Diamanti (Ferrara): “ANDY WARHOL Ladies and Gentlemen” exhibition, an international art event open to the public through July 19.
  • Tribute to the Duke (Ferrara): Every Sunday morning in Piazza Castello (from late March to late April), the districts participating in the Palio perform Renaissance-style choreographed dances.
  • The Palio of Ferrara: The oldest horse race in the world!
    • April 18: Torneo del Fante (Town Hall Square).
    • May 23: Historical Parade featuring 1,000 participants.
    • May 30: The Palio Horse Races at Night (Piazza Ariostea).
